Unique or Distinctive Qualities

WorkFirst provides individualized services based on consumer needs and interests. Services include assisting individuals with developing and enhancing job retention skills, appropriate work behaviors and skills, janitorial skills training, a training center in which individuals prepare for competitive employment, job development, on the job training, and ongoing support services. Job counseling, assistive technology and referral sources are an integral part of the employment services program. Through ongoing contact, consumers and family members are primary participants in the individualized planning process.
