All services of the Washington County Health Department are provided regardless of an individual's ability to pay. For individuals not having insurance coverage, a standardized sliding fee scale is applied to determine payment.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?
The Washington County Health Department is active in all aspects of community health and welfare, participating in a wide range of collaborative efforts with other agencies and service providers within. Most notibly, the Health Department is taking the lead in developing coordination of countrywide human service transportation.
Steps Individuals Must Take to Apply for Services
The majority of services are accessed by personal presentation at the Health department facilities. However, a certain number of activities, espercially those related to the Environment Health Division, are available online at the Health Department's website www.washhealth.org
