Mission Statement

Home-Sweet-Home, Inc., (H.S.H. Inc) s aprivate, for profit, voluntary community based residential agency. Its primary goal is to provide residential services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. These individuals may be diagnosed as being medically fragile or persons diagnosed with secondary conditions, which may include, head trauma, non-acute conditions such as HIV and conditions related to advance age. This diagnosis can be the result of birth defect, trauma, or disease. Services, supports and assistance with activities of daily living are provided to the individuals supported by H.S.H, Inc, without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, national origin, marital status or physical or mental handicapped. H.S.H. Inc., is committed to assisting individuals in achieving their preferences, choices, needs and goals. In addition, H.S.H. Inc., is committed to maintaining an organizational structure that addresses and safeguards the individual's human rights, individual dignity and personal well-being.

Home-Sweet-Homes's standard practice is to include the individual in each phase of the quality assurance process. Supports and services are individualized and relevant to individual needs. In addition supports and services are changed according to the changing needs of the individual. All supports and services are created and implemented in a manner that help individuals optimize their abilities and foster respect dignity and privacy. Home-Sweet-Home's standing committee meets once a month. The Standing Committee's goals are to review all individual's services and supports on a monthly basis and formulate recommendations for improvements to the agency.
