Mission

Helena's House, Inc. mission is to provide a safe and comfortable home environment offering its clients the freedoms of fully independent living. Helena's House endeavors to meet the individual needs of each of its clients in a more adaptable, but less costly, alternative to traditional institutional care environments.

Unique or Distinctive Qualities

R.N owned and operated. Deficiency free survey home. Focus is on medically fragile individuals, and individuals with medical issues who need nursing care and support. Works closer with the psychiatrist for psychotropic drug management.

The Agency did not have any negative impact on the "Ask Me!" survey results. However, in the future should negative results occur, they would be reviewed with standing committee and the necessary recommendations from the committee would be followed.

The "Ask Me!" Survey Results is available for the general public

Describe your quality assurance practices, including any agency accreditations

Quality Assurance is part of the performance of the standing committee. All incident reports are brought to the table for review. The recommendations are implemented by the staff and evaluated within the set time frame.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

The Agency involved the individuals in community recreations. Takes them outings etc.

Steps Individuals Must Take to Apply for services

Call Helena's House for pre-admission assessment and arrange for visit.

Special Considerations/Comments: Agency provides respite care if the family needs a break and always willing to work with the family.
