Mission Statement

GATEWAY Residential Programs, Inc.'s mission is to provide a wide array of services to developmentally disabled adults in order to preserve dignity, self-esteem, independence, family, and community membership for all individuals ages 21 and over, regardless of gender, race, religion, or disability.

The residences are designed to provide living arrangements that are comfortable and home-like. The program is designed to provide support and supervision required for residents to enjoy life in their community.

GATEWAY Residential Programs has adopted a culturally sensitive approach aimed at promoting the highest standards of conduct towards developmentally disabled adults, which will promote competent, independent, socially responsible and productive individuals to live better one day at a time. GATEWAY Residential Programs provides a life-style for normalization and community integration which ranges from drop -in-visits to 24 hour supervision and one on one staffing, depending on the individuals needs.

GATEWAY Residential Programs utlilize "Ask Me" survey as an instrument that provides customer satisfaction insight in order to ensure that the service delivery is consistent with the desires of the individuals served.

GATEWAY Residential Programs Quality Assurance Committee meets every 3 months to review quality of service delivery to the individuals served in order to ensure that it is in compliance and accordance with the Gateway quality assurance standards.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

GATEWAY Residential Programs provides community based services and case management to assist developmentally disabled individuals to develop skills, which will empower them to become productive citizens. Gateway provides multiple intervention strategies and operates at individual family and neighborhood levels. GATEWAY Residential Programs establishes linkages with other community based agencies and organizations that provide complementary services to ensure optimal service coordination for all individuals.
