Respite Care Services
Respite Care services are coordinated by the Center to serve individuals who live in the community but need a temporary placement. This allows for caregivers to respond to situations that take them away from home, obtain temporary rest, or fulfil vacation plans. Individuals may stay 45 days per year, 28 days consecutively. Professional Services
The Center provides a full range of occupational, physical, speech, dietary and psychological services to individuals who reside at the center. These include diagnostic evaluations, devleopment of individualized skills and functional level programs, and use of therapeutic equipment and techniques. A team approach is used to develop each Individualized Habilitation Plan. This incorporates aspects of all disciplines to provide individuals with methods of communication, mobility, daily living and community integration skills to increase overall independence in everyday life.

The Therapy Services Department collaborates with the interdisciplinary department to provide a variety of services.
Medical Services
The team of Registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and contractual Physicians work together with local specialist to ensure that individuals are empowered to be active in the life of the community and to have the best possible health. Increased medical intervention, closer medical supervision, and additional services such as specialized nutritional needs are addressed through the interdiciplinary approach. Nursing staff are actively involved in leisure activities with individuals. They help those who are medically fragile or elderly enjoy their envirnment and continue to make personal choices.
Recreational and Community Activity Support Services (CASS)
Recreational and CASS services provide quality community activities for individuals who live at Brandenburg Center
These activities provide self-expression, social interaction and entertainment based on each individual's personal preferences and interests.
Volunteer Services

Day Activities Program
This provides services for individuals at the Center who do not attend outside community day placements. The program incorporates prevocational work experience, leisure activities, and therapy into an environment that supports individuals' personal goals.
Social Services
The Social Services Department assists individuals in their transtion to the community while continuing to ensure that they are involved with friends, volunteers, and other members of their neighborhood. Individuals continue to visit ALUs in preparation for community living. This enables them to make personal choices for their continues success.
